Maria Carla Cravero is currently a researcher at CREA (Council for Agricultural Research and Economics), Research Centre for Viticulture and Enology (Italy). She graduated in Agriculture and post-graduated in Viticulture and Enology (University of Turin, Italy). Her research experience is in grape and wine physical-chemical analysis (1988–1997), and from 1997 to the present day she has studied the sensory analysis of grape, wine, and alcoholic beverages. From 2005 to 2015 she was a member of the Italian delegation to the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV), and she contributed to the review document on the sensory analysis of wine. She is a reviewer of some international journals (https://publons.com) and co-author of one patent and the author/co-author of more than 200 papers (19 International peer-reviewed papers, 49 papers in conference proceedings, 120 papers in professional journals and magazines, and 19 monographs or chapters in monographs).
